How often has someone asked you how you are? How often have you lied?  When the truth is that you are not fine and are in fact in agonising pain, yet you still find yourself saying 'I'm Fine'....Whatever the opposite of feeling fine is we often still say that we are fine because we just do not want to get into the details of just how bad we actually are! 

We don't always want to talk in depth about how we are feeling, sometimes its just easier to say that we are fine to avoid having to talk about our illnesses. 

Despite what others think, we more often than not do not want to get into it...This also applies to those of us suffering with mental illness too, or someone just having  a bad day.  What would happen if we told the truth?  Maybe sharing would help some of us, but also many of us do not want to burden someone with our true feelings. 

We want to save them from having to stress about us....most spoonies are very thoughtful of others feelings.  We are protecting them from the pain we feel...Please always try to find someone to open up to as sharing always helps and someone will always be there to try to help...keep fighting
